Rosa Maria is based in Beirut and her sculptural pieces are produced in small quantities by Lebanese artisans. Her designs, unconventional and sophisticated, are realised in silver, precious and semi-precious stones.
Sidai Designs is a social enterprise based in Tanzania, which supports the craftsmanship of Maasai women through fair trade. Their contemporary luxury jewellery collection is inspired by Maasai culture and realised using traditional beading techniques and recycled materials.
For her limited necklace collection, Mireille, who lives in Abidjan in Ivory Coast, has used glass beads and cowry, a typical African shell that in old times was also employed as currency throughout Africa. Her pieces are hand made with traditional beading techniques.
Rosa Maria, Sidai Designs and Mireille’s jewels are all natural, unrefined but with character. Their unusual shapes are not only decorative but also reflect impeccable craft and heritage, qualities that make them easy to wear and travel with, in the knowledge of always owning a unique piece.
